The River Quaggy
Creating huge flood storage capacity for the catchment and a large and valued public space at the same time.
Green Flag award winning scheme, Sutcliffe Park was turned into a huge flood storage area as part of a comprehensive engineering project to manage the River Quaggy in Lewisham. Proposals included design of the channel, permanent wetland and marginal habitats, board walks and routes through the park.
